If you are thinking about Selling Homes for a Living in California, you must have an Active California Real Estate License. In California to become a Real Estate Agent you must be 18+yrs., High School Graduate or Equivalent, and Complete 3 California Department for Real Estate Approved Courses. There are many ways to accomplish taking these Courses. You can attend a Community College, University, or Correspondence Courses. A Correspondence Course, is an Approved California Department of Real Estate School that provides Real Estate Courses from Home. Some of the Correspondence Courses are Affordable. Less than $250.
To receive your Real Estate License you must Complete these 3 Courses:
*Real Estate Principles.
*Real Estate Practice.
and 1 Course from a Selection of:
*Real Estate Appraisal.
*Real Estate Escrow.
*Property Management.
and more.
Once you Complete these Courses, and Passed the Open Book Test. You will receive a Certificate of Completion. This Certificate is sent to the California Department of Real Estate, along with your Real Estate Sales Person Application. You will receive a State Exam Date. You must Pass the California Real Estate License Exam with a 70% or Greater, to receive your Real Estate License. Once you have Passed your Real Estate Exam, you will undergo a Department of Juctice Background Check. You Can't have any FELONY'S on your Record. If you have a Felony, you can't get your Real Estate License.
