In the Early 1900's many Black Americans had Businesses, and were doing very well. The term "Chitlin" Circuit made it possible for Black Entertainers to Earn a Living in the Black Communities. The Black Community was doing well, and providing an Economy for Black Americans. Black People were Buying, and Spending in Black Owned Businesses. Some Blacks wanted to Patronize Businesses, which did not allow Black Americans in their place of Business. This lead to many Boycotts, and the Fight for Equal Rights for Non-White Americans. Segregation Ended, and Blacks are now allowed into White Establishments. Many Black Americans begin to Patronize many White Owned Businesses, move to White Communities. This lead to the Black Dollar moving out of the Black Communities. The Black Owned Businesses begun to decline in Business Sales, and less Black Customers.
A Black Owned Business will get more scrutiny from some Blacks based on a stereotypical mindset. The Black Owned Businesses you patronize is just as Good of any other similar Business. We must enjoy Spending Black, Being Black, and Buying Black Products/ Services. Take out the House Slave, and Field Slave mindset. Some of us have it, some don't. This goes for any other Group of People. We must stay consistent, and support our Black Owned Businesses when ever Possible. Remember we are a Nation within a Nation. Keep the Black Dollar Spending in Black Communities. This Blog will Continue to Grow as I add more Content. Keep Reading, as I add more to "What Happened to the Black Dollar"
